It may be a little early for this take, but Jordan Love is him. He has so far taken his starting position by storm, and I don’t think the defense of the Raiders is going to slow him down in any way. And when it comes to the Raiders offense….I just don’t think things are looking good for the team or the Head Coach. Josh McDaniels might be making his third trip to the Patriots.
The Las Vegas Raiders have been playing some pretty uninspiring football. The only team they’ve beaten so far this season has been the Broncos and..well..we all know how their season has been going. Even if Jimmy G does play in this game, he hasn’t been anything amazing this season. He’s only thrown for 709 yards this season to go along with more interceptions than touchdowns. At this point, Aidan O’Connell might give this team a better chance at winning games. Because of Jimmy’s ineptitude, Davante Adams has had a slow start to the season, and the only consistent receiver has been Hunter Refrow. Oh, you thought I meant consistently good.
The Packers conversely have been a surprisingly good team on the shoulders of Jordan Love. They have been in every game they’ve played in so far this season, and honestly should be 3 and 1. Jordan Loce has thrown for almost 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns in his first year as a starter, and that’s in large part to the credit of the development of his elite receiving core that no one predicted. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed have stepped up in big ways to fill in the gap that Christian Watson left when he went down to injury, and now that he’s back this core looks really dangerous. If this Packer’s defense can just get its act together this team might be able to do some amazing things.
The Packers are a better team than the Raiders. Bet on the Packers!
