Game Analysis:

The Diamondbacks may be on their way to the NL Championship series for the first time since 2007. They are just one win away from making that possibility a reality. And who says that they can’t? They won not one but both games in Los Angeles. They actually blew out the Dodgers in Game One. And they have been on fire since this postseason started. They have a genuine chance to sweep the Dodgers in this series. 

The Dodgers were one of the best teams in baseball during the regular season. But guess what? We aren’t in the regular season anymore. Since the start of the postseason, this team has only scored four total runs. That is pathetic. This team scored four runs in their sleep in the regular season. I’m not sure what happened to make them all forget how to hit baseballs, but they have. That’s the reality we live in right now. The Dodgers have had one home run in their two postseason games thanks to J.D. Martinez, and everyone’s batting averages have been pretty abysmal. 

The Diamondbacks on the other hand have looked downright lethal to start off the post-season. Corbin Carroll has been a man on a mission, he’s rocking a .500 batting average with two home runs and a double in 14 at-bats. That is what the kids call getting off to a hot start. Gabriel Moreno has also been flashing his hitting skills as he almost single-handedly won game two for the Diamondbacks. His home run in the top of the sixth really helped keep the Dodgers out of striking distance as the game’s final innings wound down. This team has talent galore and a clear desire for wins.
