Game Analysis:
This is one of the most anticipated games of the year, as number 14 LSU travels to Tuscaloosa to take on the number 8 ranked Crimson Tide. Does Jaden Daniels have it in him to be the first quarterback to beat Saban twice since Drew Brees, or will the Crimson Tide win a crucial home game against an SEC rival? Here is what you should know.
Man is that LSU offense goooood. They average more than 550 yards a game which is good enough for most in the entirety of college football, but they also score the most points per game with 47.4 points scored on average. That is simply insane. Sure, they’ve struggled on the defensive side of the ball, but in six out of their eight games their offense has done enough to get them the win. Some of their victories include wins over Auburn, Missouri, and a 62-0 beatdown of Army. Daniels has been electric throwing for 25 touchdowns and only three picks so far this season, and man are his receivers good. The run game led by Logan Diggs is also productive, but the big question is going to be their defense. Will it be enough to slow down Bama so LSU can come away with the win?
If you ask me I would say no. Sure Bama might not have as impressive an offense, but they still move the ball well and score a lot of points. Alabama’s real advantage in this one is their defense. They let up just a touch over 330 yards per game compared to LSU giving up over 400, and they’re especially good against the rush. Jalen Milroe has been solid, his receivers are good, and the run game is well balanced and effective. In my opinion, Bama just has the more well-rounded squad and everyone knows defense wins championships. Don’t bet against Saban, especially not at home. Give me Alabama in this one, Roll Tide!!
Always bet responsibly!
