Game Analysis:

We’ve got a ranked rumble coming up this weekend! This season is coming down to the wire with the currently undefeated teams left, and I can’t wait to see which falters headed into the Playoffs. Will it be Washington? Will it be FSU? Will it be Michigan? Who knows, one thing I do know is that these final few weeks will be some of the most competitive football you have ever seen. If there is one team that the Huskies didn’t want to see as the season wound down it was the Utes. These guys have already given themselves a reputation for beating ranked teams, so this is anyone’s game.

The Utah Ute’s have been one of the least talked about 18-seeds in what feels like a while. They only have two losses in a schedule where they had to play USC, Oregon, UCLA, and Oregon State among others. Now, one of the bigger reasons may be because at least 28% of the scholarship athletes on the roster have missed some amount of time due to injury. But, if anything, that should just make their multitude of wins even more impressive. That’s like if the New York Jets had lost Aaron Rodgers at the beginning of this season, but then went on to only lose two games up to this point. If that had happened the entire media world would rotate around the Jets. So why aren’t we talking about this Utah team?

The Washington Huskies have been the center of everyone’s attention and for very good reason. They haven’t yet lost a game of collegiate football. Not sure if you need me to tell you this, but that ain’t easy. Just ask Nick Saban ever since NIL deals became a thing. All you need to hear from me is that Washington has beaten both Oregon and USC in the same season. These guys haven’t been beating up on nobody’s. They have earned both this ranking and this record. And if you don’t like that take it up with Michael Penix Jr who may have one of the most problematic names in all of football. What isn’t problematic is how he handles himself on the football field. He’s thrown for over 3,200 yards and 26 touchdowns. Don’t get it twisted, when he’s on his A game, there is very little your defense can do to stop him.

The Huskies may be the favorite but Utah is used to winning as underdogs this season. Bet on either team and always bet responsibly!
