Now, Eastern Michigan is coming into this game as an underdog for sure, but that does not mean this won’t be a closer game than people expect. Sure the Jaguars have the advantage, especially on offense, but if the Eagles step up their defense I think they can make this one a real contest. The Eagles have a pretty solid passing defense, so if they can hone in on improving their run defense that will go a long way. They have a great passing offense, but their starting quarterback is hurt and the backups have struggled a bit. Some key players have also entered the transfer portal like Caullin Lacy, standout wide receiver and other players are probably out with injuries leaving the Jaguars to rely on their backups. Eastern Michigan while having the weaker squad is suffering less from injuries and transfers which could lead to this game being closer than expected.

The Jags are confident they can secure a victory. They’ve had plenty of rest and time to prepare for the Eagles. However, the Eagles have also had time to rest and prepare and are missing fewer key players than the Jaguars. This game promises to be an exciting clash between two formidable teams.
