Game Analysis:

The college football world is eagerly awaiting the upcoming clash between the Memphis Tigers and the Iowa State Cyclones in the 2023 Liberty Bowl. Both teams have had noteworthy performances this season and are ready to battle it out on the field.

The Tigers definitely have the offensive edge in this game. They average almost 100 more yards a game than the Cyclones and have been especially dominant through the air. Seth Henigan has been pretty electric, averaging just under 300 passing yards a game and a touchdown touchdown-to-interception ratio of 28:9 which is pretty impressive if you ask me. It’s looking like this game won’t have many opt-outs or injuries which is nice, but honestly favors the Tigers I think.

Now Iowa State absolutely had a harder schedule this year playing in the Big 12. Sure they might not have the most impressive offense in the world, but defensively in this one, they have a huge advantage. Does defense win bowl games as well as championships? They allow 360 yards a game to opponents while the Tigers let up over 430. Yikes. Rocco Becht will be looking to his star wideouts Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins to tear that Tigers secondary up in this one.
