Ladies and Gentlemen, it is almost time for the greatest annual tournament we have here in the great United States of America. Of course, I’m talking about March Madness if you couldn’t tell. While teams jostle for positions in their conferences and tournaments are right around the corner games just mean more and more. This week we have a heavyweight bout between the Wildcats of Arizona and the Cougars of Washington State. Let’s break down this Pac-12 catfight.

Man this should be such a good game. Number 21 Washington State comes into this one hotter than Sydney Sweeney, winning their last seven and nine of their last ten. They’re a top 75 team on both sides of the ball, and already have some impressive wins this season. Led by Rice and Jones who bother average over 15, this offense is pretty good albeit a bit top heavy with only two other players netting more than 10 a game. They have a few injuries, but that should not slow down this Cougars team too much. That all being said, are they skilled enough to knock of number 4 Arizona at their own court? I guess time will tell.

Now the Wildcats have been goooood. Currently sitting ranked number 4 scoring the most points per game in college basketball is nothing to turn your nose up at. Now while they have one of the best offenses, their defense is special as well, sitting rated 21st overall and not letting up many points. These kids can shoot, scoring over 90 points a game while averaging almost 50% from the floor. That is just insane. Caleb Love is one of the best players in college basketball averaging almost 19 points per game, but Arizona has four other players averaging double digits a game. They’re also on an impressive win streak, unbeaten in their last six and winning 8 of their last 10. Combine that with homecourt advantage and I think the Wildcat should come out on top in this one, but anything could happen. This is college basketball after all.
