I know a lot of fans right now are telling me “Oh, it’s too early in the season to decide if one of these two teams is better than the other!” And you know what? You’re absolutely wrong, because Charlotte FC is not 0-0-3 to start the season, and floundering for a foothold in the East. 

Nashville SC has started the season about as poorly as a team can start a season. They have no wins, no direction, and barely 1 goal per game. That is not a recipe for success in the MLS. I wish I could say there was something this team did really well, but if it’s not booting the ball up the field or fouls (for which they’re 8th in the league) then there’s not much to rave about. They just have to pray they don’t go down by too much too early.

Charlotte FC on the other hand has had a successful start to the season, or at least one that’s more successful than their counterparts. They have way more shot attempts both in general and on target than Nashville, as well as way more crosses. This team is going to be pelting the net of a Nashville team that has not yet won a game. Not to mention the Charlotte fans have been amazing this season home or away so you know they’re going to be bringing the energy to this matchup. I’m really liking Charlotte FC in this one.
