Ladies and gentlemen, we are finally so so back. The NCAA Tournament is back after an unreal conference tournament week, and I’m more excited than a kid in a candy shop. One of the opening matchups is Duke vs the University of Vermont, so let’s break it down.

Vermont is quietly having a dynasty, absolutely dominating their conference for a while now, but that has not necessarily translated into a lot of success in March which this squad is looking to change. Only allowing 63 points a game this is a pretty stingy defense, and their offense is nothing to turn your nose up at. Led by TJ Long and Shamir Bogues averaging 12.2 and 11 respectively, can this team make a Cinderella run?

If you ask me I would say probably not. Duke stands in the way and they are a scary opponent. Scoring almost 80 points a game while allowing well under 70, this team is incredibly well-rounded and poised to make a run. Kyle Filipowski has been unreal putting up over 17 points a game, and the supporting cast takes it to the next level. They want to make a deep run, but can’t look past this game. I like Duke in this one.
