Does anyone else smell something? I’m getting whiffs of victory and hope, with a strong scent of heartbreak. Do you know what that must mean? It’s the start of bracket season babyyyy. This Pac-12 matchup is going to be one for the ages, one team is desperately trying to claw its way back into the race while the other is hoping to stay king of the hill. No matter what happens you can expect this game to be high-scoring and exciting.

Arizona State has been, lackluster this season. However, they are on the come-up, with hopes of staying hot rolling through the back end of this season. They’ve just gotten back-to-back wins against Utah and Oregon State, with a major second-half kickstarting that victory. Whatever this team lacks in talent they clearly make up for in heart. And if there is any matchup to go into with a whole lotta heart it’s an Arizona/Arizona State matchup.

The Wildcats, however, are the cream of the crop for the Pac-12. This basketball team has been terrorizing opponents offensively this year. They have been averaging 90.1 points per game. That is second most across the entirety of NCAAB. Not only that but they’re also second in rebounds per game with 39.9. So even if somehow they miss on their first shot of the possession there’s a very good chance they’re gonna get another shot. 

I can’t lie, the stats speak for themselves. Give me Arizona in this one.
