Game Analysis:

Oh yeah, it’s bowl season. It is quite literally the most wonderful time of the year. So far these end-of-year games have disappointed no one, and I expect that trend to continue. This Transperfect Music City Bowl is really a last chance for an SEC team to salvage something from what they hoped would have been a better season. Auburn has been about as strong as soggy toilet paper this year losing games to teams like NMSU. However, they’re still an SEC team. The Terrapins have been on the opposite trajectory this year, with their starting quarterback setting some records, and bringing the school back to a halfway decent standing. But with Taulia opting out of the game, they’re going to need one of their backups to step up.

The Auburn Tigers have had an up-and-down season, to say the least. They were one score away from beating both Bama and Georgia and yet they lost to NMSU. I don’t really know if playing to your opponents is a measurable thing, but this team sure makes it seem so. If this team wants this win enough they are more than capable of securing it. Jarquez Hunter has been running like his feet are on fire, falling around 100 yards short of a 1,000-yard rushing season, and punching into the fun zone seven times. Oh, and Payton Thorne can sling the rock if you need him to.

The Terrapins have had a better year, but they will be without their starting quarterback. I will admit that that sounds, scary, but it’s not like Taulia is Patrick Mahomes out here. There are no consistently dropped balls, their running back doesn’t run like he has beef with the ground, and their defense can show up when you need them to. The statistic that this team has three different receivers with over 600 yards, and 4 touchdowns should be enough to prove that this offense can put in work when called upon.

No Taulia doesn’t spell doom for the Terrapins because Auburn is so hot and cold. No matter what this game is sure to be one to remember. Either way, you GET A T-SHIRT when you bet just $10+ on either team!
