Game Analysis:
Man, am I excited for this sweet matchup. Number 16-ranked Duke is traveling to Florida to do their best to upset the number 4-ranked Florida State. This should be an amazing matchup, and what is equally amazing is the offer our partner sportsbook is currently running. Here is what you should know about the game.
Duke has been such a solid team this year. 5-1 with wins over Clemson and NC State, and their only loss coming from a very good Notre Dame team. They have a very servicable offense led by Riley Leonard. Moore and Calhoun have been excellent receivers, each with well over 300 yards and a handful of touchdowns. Jordan Walters has been pretty scary on the ground, and don’t forget that Leonard can also scramble when he wants to. Defense is where they have shined, only letting up 312.5 yards a game and less than 10 points, both of with are top 65 numbers in the NCAA. Will this be enough to topple the mighty Seminoles and upset them on their home turf?
Personally, I doubt it and so does Vegas, but crazier things have happened. FSU has one of the better offenses in college football, averaging over 450 yards a game and scoring 42.4 points. That point scoring is seventh best in the NCAA which is absolutely insane. Sure, Duke has a great defense but FSU has played against solid defenses before and was able to come out on top. They have an alright defense themselves, which should be able to give some trouble to that mediocre Duke offense. Jordan Travis has been an absolute dawg, and he has some studs at receiver like Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson. Give me FSU to stay undefeated this weekend.
Duke’s defense against FSU’s offense will be a great matchup to watch. Bet on either team and get a shirt from the Friday Beers Store On Us!
