Game Analysis:

Oh man am I excited for this game. Kansas State is ranked 25th in the nation with a 6-2 record and they will be facing off against the 7th ranked Texas Longhorns who have a record of 7-1. This game is going to be exciting because both of these teams have a great record and are good teams. Despite the rankings I think this game is going to be a toss up.

The Kansas State Wildcats have been doing really well against pretty good teams and have been winning by a lot. Last week the Wildcats played Houston and beat them 41-0. This game was an absolute blow out and a shut out so hopefully they can compete against the Longhorns. Some notable players in this game were DJ Giddens and Phillip Brooks III. Giddens had 96 rushing yards with 2 rushing touchdowns and Brooks III had 5 receptions for 83 yards and 1 touchdown. They also had 3 different quarterbacks playing this game and let’s just say they all had a really high completion rating. There were only 3 passes that were completions in the entire game. Hopefully in this game against Texas they can keep this up and hopefully make it a close game.

Texas has been crazy good this year despite them dropping down to the 7th overall team in the nation. Although Texas is the better team they didn’t blow out Houston like the Wildcats did. They still won 31-24 but if Kansas State shut them out and dropped 40 on them, I think that this game is going to be close. Last week Texas played BYU and beat them 35-6. There wasn’t anything too outstanding in this game other than Jonathon Brooks having 98 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Another thing that was insane in this game is when Punt returner Xavier Worthy had a 74 yard punt return touchdown.

This game is going to be a fun one and honestly I think it is such a toss up on who is going to win. Texas is the higher ranked team and has the better record so I am leaning more towards Texas to win this game. Bet on either team in this one.
