Game Analysis:

This was a series no one expected to see at the beginning of the first round. And yet, no one is surprised that it happened. The Lakers since the trade deadline have been a completely different team with all sorts of new life. And the Warriors, unfortunately for the rest of the NBA, still have that Championship pedigree that has gotten them four rings with Steph. So unsurprising they won game seven. The Playoffs are already playoff-ing and I cannot wait for this series.

In the first round of this year’s playoffs, the Lakers showed that they are not a team you can dismiss and Dillon Brooks proved that he’s someone the Grizzlies need to cut. Lebron has once again put Father Time on hold as he dropped 22 points and 11 rebounds a game in the opening round of this year’s playoffs. And um, I don’t know what kind of black magic Jeanie Buss did but Anthony Davis made it through an entire playoff series mostly healthy. That doesn’t bode well for the other team’s chances in the playoffs. He picked up a double-double for himself across this opening series against Memphis scoring about 21 points and getting around 14 boards a game. Austin Reaves has turned himself into who Dillon Brooks thought he was, and I’m kinda here for it. There will be entire possessions where Lebron will rest and let Reaves run the offense how he needs to. And often against the Grizz, it led to buckets. Fun stuff.

Wardell Stephen Curry man. I don’t really know what else to say in this section. Curry is him, no question. He averaged 33 points in the first round, and during game seven he dropped 50. I would also like to remind the public that he did that while being guarded by solid, young, energetic guards. The Lakers don’t even have that on their roster. As solid as D-Lo and Reaves are on the offensive side of the ball their defensive abilities are pretty lacking. The Warriors on the other hand have some solid answers to the questions the Lakers pose. They have an elite rebounder to do battle with AD in the paint in Kevon Looney. They have a solid wing defender in Andrew Wiggins who is luckily back on the court for them. And they have Klay Thompson who is liable to go nuclear in any game 6.

Both of these teams had amazing first rounds, and this second-round matchup will only be better. This’ll be an amazing game to watch, so make sure you bet on one of these teams moneyline’s & get $100 in bonus bets instantly!
