Game Analysis:

Well, the teams are headed back to LA for game six. The Lakers will be looking to put the Warriors away in the Stapl – Crypto.com Arena. The Warriors didn’t actually play their best game in game five and still pulled out a win. That’s not a great look for the Lakers. However, one thing Lebron-led teams do not do is blow 3 to 1 series leads. Something that cannot be said for Curry’s past teams. Will the Warriors extend the series or will the Lakers put it away? Only tomorrow night will tell.

The Lakers technically didn’t play a terrible game on the offensive side of the ball. Lebron had an unsurprising 25 and 9, while Anthony Davis had 23 and 9. That is enough production from your star players on the offensive side of the ball to win a basketball game. Additionally, AR-15 and D-Lo also had 15 a piece. Again, that is enough to win on the offensive side of the ball. Maybe they could have used more production from Rui or Vanderbilt or Beasley, but honestly, you can’t ask for too much more from this Laker’s team offensively. (Ok, I lied, Vanderbilt had 0 points which is pretty unacceptable from him). The one issue that the Lakers had last night was finding a way to slow down that explosive Warriors offense. Anthony Davis needs to be more of a presence in the paint on the defensive end of the court. He’s such an imposing figure on offense but then becomes a turtle and slides into his shell on defense. It also doesn’t help that the Warriors could not cool off.

Klay Thompson did not have his best game. Which, yes doesn’t matter because the Warriors won. But I submit, that it actually does matter. If the Warriors can scrounge out a win without one of their best players shooting well at all, then what would they do when he’s hot? Speculation aside, Draymond Green decided to shift back into his prime. He had 20 points and 10 boards on 7 for 11 shooting. That is a crazy efficient double-double for him. He even knocked down a three, which I honestly never thought I’d see again. Steph Curry of course also had an amazing game unsurprisingly, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 27 points. And one more guy I’d love to shout out from the Warriors before this segment ends is Andrew Wiggins. Because if the Warriors were a band he’d be the bassist. No, he’s not the flashiest player, he’s not the most recognizable player, and he definitely doesn’t headline any shows. But man is he reliable. And in game five he took it a step further and scored 25 points as the second-highest scorer on the Warriors. Good for him.

These are two experienced veteran teams whose leaders know each other very well. Anything could happen in game six so bet on either of these team’s moneyline’s & get $200 in bonus bets instantly!
