Game Analysis:

Man, this should be an exciting ACC matchup as the 3-1 5th in the ACC Wolfpack host the currently undefeated and 2nd in the ACC Louisville Cardinals. Vegas thinks this will be a close one, which makes me all the more excited to sit my ass on the couch Friday at 7:00 pm EST and throw this one. Here is what you should know.

NC State has looked solid so far this year. They have beaten all of the teams they should have but got pushed around a little bit by Notre Dame which was to be expected. Both their offense and defense are above average, but defense is for sure their strong suit. They let up less than 350 yards a game, and especially excel at stopping the run game only allowing 114.5 rushing yards a game which almost puts them in the top 75 in all of CFB. Kevin Concepcion has been great with 238 yards on 22 catches and 2 scores, and the run game has really been spread out across a variety of players which should keep defenses on their toes not knowing what to expect. Will that be enough to hand the Cardinals their first loss of the year?

If you ask me I would say probably not. Louisville has had a far more convincing season so far, scoring 56 points twice already and beating Indiana, Georgia Tech, and BC. They gain the 5th more yards per game out of any team in college football, and score in the top ten in points per game. Sure the Wolfpack have an alright defense, but it definitely shouldn’t be enough to stop this dynamic offense. Their defense is around the same strength as NC State, but the offense gives Louisville a massive advantage. Jack Plummer has looked solid with 10 touchdowns and 4 picks and spreads the ball around a lot as 5 players have 90 or more receiving yards. Jamari Thrash has been a stud, already totaling 400 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Unreal. The run game is also solid, and no matter how you break it down this Cardinals team should walk away still undefeated after this game.

No matter how you look at it, Louisville is the better team. Bet on the Cardinals and get $200 in bonus bets!
