Are we so back? This month has already had so many spectacular upsets and heartbreaking moments. It really makes you remember why we look forward to this time of year. Northwestern has just come off the back of a great overtime upset against FAU, and I don’t care who they play in the next round. I like their odds. 

Northwestern has already showcased they have the heart and desire to win when it matters most. And yes this sounds like the moral of a story written for five-year-olds, but it’s a real thing. You can have all the best players, but if they go into the game without a care in the world, they’ll get rocked. Luckily for Northwestern, they don’t have to pick and choose between those two qualities. Throughout the regular season, this team has lived and died at the three-point line. They’re fifth in the nation for three-point shooting percentage and top 40 in assists. So they create open looks and usually knock them down. Beware to those who don’t cover the arc against this team.
