Game Analysis:

Week 7 of college football is here and this game is going to be electric if you are an Ohio State fan. There isn’t much to say about this upcoming game other than it might be a smack down from the Buckeyes. Purdue has a slight advantage because they are hosting this game, but other than that I don’t think this will change the score of the game.

Let’s start with Ohio State. This team is a power house and has been unstoppable for the last 5 games that they have played. They are 5-0 right now, ranked 3rd in the nation, and are looking to stay undefeated in this game. Last week they played Maryland and won 37-17. I was shocked that Ohio State didn’t absolutely blow them out but they still came out with a win. Quarterback Kyle McCord went 19/29 with passing attempts, had 320 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr. was an absolute animal in this game. He had 8 receptions and 163 receiving yards with 1 touchdown. This man was going insane in this game and he will also be someone you want to keep your eye on in this game against Purdue. The defense also had 2 picks in this game and they were looking very explosive.

Purdue is nonetheless a great school but their football program this year has been very mediocre. Right now they are 2-4 and are looking to flip their season around, but with how good Ohio State has been and has always been, I don’t think this is the game that will be the turning point in their season, but there are always upsets. Last week Purdue played against Iowa and lost 20-14. This was a close game but Purdue didn’t have what it took to beat them. Some notable players in this game from Purdue’s offense were Devin Mockobee, TJ Sheffield, and Garrett Miller. These players will be fun to watch in this game against Ohio State.
