Game Analysis:

After an insane Championship Series in both the National and American Leagues, we finally have our World Series Matchup. The Texas Rangers beat the formidable Houston Astros in the battle for Texas, and the Phillies were beaten at home in game seven by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Here is what you should know about what should be an amazing World Series.

Man is this Diamondbacks team fun or what?! They were able to win a game seven after being down 0-2 in one of the most hostile stadiums in all of sport. Corbin Caroll is an absolute stud, Evan Longoria is still alive which is cool, and they were able to absolutely shut down the Phils’ offense in the second half of that series. The pitching was great, the bats were hot, and this young electric squad just kept finding ways to win even when the odds seemed stacked against them. Ketel Marte has been a stud, and despite taking some hard knocks Morena remains one of the cornerstones of this Snakes team. Will that be enough to upset the more experienced Rangers?

If you ask me, I would honestly have to say I’m not sure. This one could go either way. The Rangers definitely have the experience here, with players like Nathan Eovaldi, Max Scherzer, Perez, Semien, Seager, and more. They were slightly better in the regular season, but everyone knows you can throw out all of those stats when the postseason starts. While the defense and pitching are kind of middle of the pack, the Rangers have an elite offense, with the third-highest runs per game in the league as well as the second-highest hits per game and team batting average. Home-field advantage should be huge in this series, so I would factor that in when potentially betting on it.
