Game Analysis:
It’s an AFC North Showdown as the 1st place Ravens host the 4th place Bengals separated by only two wins! This game is very important with heavy playoff implications, but it should also prove to be an entertaining primetime duel. Here is what you should know to make the most of this sweet offer from our sportsbook friends.
After rattling off four wins against solid teams like the Seahawks, Niners, and Bills, the Bengals had a bit of a let down week as CJ Stroud and the Texans were able to squeak out a three point win over the Bengals last week. The pressure is on for the Bengals who after a really slow start seem to have heated back up but need to string some more wins together in order to make a run at the postseason. Burrow has really turned it around, but with his wide receiver room pretty banged up it might be hard to throw the ball a lot against this very good Ravens defense. Joe Mixon has been reliable and should be able to provide ground support, but the Bengals defense will really need to step up and make some plays if they want to go home with a win and the upset in this week’s matchup.
Now the Ravens also had a four game win streak halted by a close loss last week as the Browns mounted an unreal comeback to steal a win. Despite that, the Ravens have a top five defense and the number one overall offense by points scored and allowed making them more well rounded than the balls they play with. Lamar has looked amazing and has really been able to elevate his receiver core, making them look better than they were expected to be on paper. Andrews and Edwards are great playmakers on offense as well, but the real strength of the Ravens comes from their defense which allows just 15.7 points per game, best in the entire league. This might be a pretty close back and forth game, and I’m not sure who will come out on top. Either way, this is the best primetime game on paper we have had in a while, so make sure to throw it on the TV and get your bets in.
