Game Analysis:
The Chiefs should win this game. Should. But they did lose to the Lions in week one, which honestly doesn’t give me a whole lot of confidence heading into this matchup. I think the Jets are due. They won a game they weren’t supposed to already this season against the Bills. Why couldn’t they win this one?
The New York Jets are a team not at their best right now. But they were also a team not at their best last season when it came to this part of the year and yet they were able to turn things around and win some games. They actually went on a bit of a run at this point in the season with Zach Wilson behind center, only losing again towards the end of the year. And it all started with their lights-out defense which they still have. Sauce Gardner is still an elite cornerback, Quinnen Williams is still an elite defensive tackle, and that entire defense as a unit is just amazing. I don’t see why they couldn’t beat a team like the Chiefs, as long as their defense remains the steel curtain.
If there was any team to not have problems with the Jets defense it would be Patrick Mahome’s team. This man is paid like an elite quarterback because he is an elite quarterback, it’s just that his receivers sometimes have blocks of butter for hands. Except for Travis Kelce. Who is actually back. So at least Mahomes has one receiver on this team. The Chief’s defense is also not exactly the Patriot’s defense, which means they’ll have to bring their A-game to stop the elite threats of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. I would say that Zach Wilson’s due for a good game at this point, but even if he has a bad game he still has a chance to win behind those two dynamic playmakers.
Either of these teams could win this game, so bet on either and get $200 in bonus bets!
