Game Analysis:
Call me crazy, but I think that Commanders are better than their record. Two of their losses have come to two of the best teams in the entire NFL. When your record is 2-3, but you’ve played both the Bills and Eagles the record becomes a little more understandable. Meanwhile, the Falcons are the whimpiest 3 and 2 I’ve ever seen. They’ve beaten the Packers, Panthers, and Texans. I think we can all agree that those aren’t exactly the titans of the League.
The Atlanta Falcons have looked good against bad competition. Their defense has been solid(ish), but they’re still letting up about 20 points per game against some of the league’s most uninspiring offenses. Additionally, their own offense looks at best atrocious. They have had two games already this season where they have scored seven or fewer points. That is well below the league average in case anyone was confused about that. Desmond Ridder has looked awful out there in his first few games throwing only four touchdowns and three interceptions. If they want to have any hope of winning Desmond has got to look better.
The Commanders, as I’ve been stating are the exact opposite of the Falcons. If you want to get a good grasp of this team you have to ignore the record and focus on the players. The Commanders have only scored less than 16 points once this season. This is an offense that can absolutely get rolling if given the chance. Sam Howell has so far had a much better time acclimating to the NFL as compared to the quarterback he’ll be dueling this week. He’s thrown for 1300+ yards and six touchdowns. They’ve got two receivers Curtis Samuel and Terry McLaurin with over 22 receptions on the season and over 240 yards. Not to mention their tight end Logan Thomas looking like the safety outlet of all safety outlets for them.
The Commanders are a team outplaying their record by a mile. Bet on Washington, and remember to always bet responsibly!
