Game Analysis:
Week 8 of the NFL is here and boy are we excited for this game and our fantasy teams. Fantasy has not gone quite the way we thought it would with many of our first picks getting injured and being out for the season. This week the 6-1 Eagles are facing the 3-4 Washington Commanders. This game will be an interesting matchup to say the least especially since the Eagles recently lost to the Jets.
The Eagles are coming off of a win against a really good team this year which is the Dolphins. The Eagles had quite the stat lines in this game. Jalen Hurts went 23/31 with passing attempts, had 279 passing yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also had 21 rushing yards with 1 rushing touchdown. A.J. Brown also went off in this game and had 10 receptions with 137 yards and 1 touchdown. They had a great game against the Dolphins so hopefully in this game they can keep the momentum going and get a win over the Commanders this week. The Eagles are the better team in this game so hopefully that doesn’t get to their head and they blow it.
The Washington Commanders have the home field advantage in this game. Although the Eagles have the better record and the better team, there is still a chance that the Commanders can take this game. Last week the Commanders lost to the Giants which was shocking for everyone. This game was probably the worst game the Commanders could have played. Quarterback Sam Howell went 22/42 with passing attempts, had 249 passing yards and 1 interception. Terry McLaurin had a pretty decent game with 6 receptions and 90 yards averaging 15 yards per reception. The Commanders are going to have to start stepping up and score quick if they want a chance against the Eagles.
Crazier things have happened but the Commanders upsetting the Eagles is a rare occasion in this game. The Eagles are the better team and have the better record so I think it is safe to say that the Eagles are probably going to take the win over the Commanders.
