Game Analysis:

I am literally shaking right now. Going this long without any NBA games to watch has been pure torture. This Western Conference matchup will not disappoint. The Nuggets just won the NBA Championship. By definition, they are the best basketball team right now, and you can’t really debate that. The Lakers are good I guess, but all they did was make some cute moves in the off-season and let their best players age another year. That doesn’t seem like it’ll produce winning basketball to me. 

The Lakers will forever be an overhyped team. They currently have claim to the player who is the logo of the league, and because the Lakers are synonymous with basketball the media will always hype them up. But, luckily you have me to steer y’all in the right direction. This team is going to constantly be one injury away from a loss. God-forbid Anthony Davis goes down in the next few days or Lebron decides he can’t play because he’s older than dirt. If that happens then who does this team have to turn to? Rui Hachimura who even the Wizards didn’t want? Austin Reaves, who may be more overhyped than Zion? I don’t know where all the love for this team is coming from but this is a bad matchup for them opening night.

The Nuggets on the other hand have proven they are the best team in basketball. Do you know what made my blood boil? When the NBA top-100 list had Giannis at the top. How does a man who just led the league in assists, rebounds, and points in the postseason not get bids for that top spot? Jokic is more interested in gambling on horse races than playing basketball and he is still dicing up your favorite team nightly. The league has proven there is still no answer for this man and how he operates his team. Lakers beware.
