Game Analysis:

Week 4 brings us a matchup of two teams who were pleasant surprises last season, but have gotten off to quite different starts so far this year. The 2-1 Seattle Seahawks visit the 1-2 New York Giants in a matchup that could have potential playoff implications down the road. The Seahawks have some momentum coming in, having won 2 straight after dropping their opener, while the New York Giants are searching for answers after a very shaky start to their campaign.

The visiting Seahawks travel to Metlife Stadium following a 37-27 home win against the Panthers last week, a game which was close at halftime, but Seattle was able to pull away in the 3rd quarter and never looked back. QB Geno Smith threw his first interception of the season, but his near 300 yard passing day, and the rushing attack were more than enough to get the win. The defense meanwhile, completely shut down the Panthers run game, forcing QB Andy Dalton to air it out 58 times. WR DK Metcalf had his best game of the young season, hauling in 6 receptions for 112 yards. Seattle’s offense is feeling really good right now, having scored 37 points in each of the last two weeks, and they’ll look to keep rolling on Monday Night against the Giants.

The New York Giants return home for the first time since week 1, and they are spiraling in the opposite direction of their opponent. This team could very well be 0-3, if not for a massive 2nd half comeback in week 2 at Arizona, and their offense specifically has not gotten anything going. After receiving a lucrative contract extension this offseason, QB Daniel Jones has gotten off to a miserable start, with only 2 touchdowns on the season, both of which came in that 2nd half comeback at Arizona. He is coming off a game in San Francisco where he only threw for 137 yards, plus an interception. The New York Giants also had to abandon the run, as they trailed early and had to play catchup for most of the game against the 49ers. This is a game the Giants need to win badly if they still have playoff aspirations for this year, and while they’ve struggled to open the year, they are hungry, which should make for a great game on Monday Night.

Either of these teams could win this game, so bet on either and get $200 in bonus bets!
