Game Analysis:

On a fairly stacked card we have the pleasure of watching a main event between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. Let’s break it down so you can make the most out of this sweet offer from BetMGM and Friday Beers!

Henry Cejudo makes his much anticipated return to the octagon in an attempt to take away the bantamweight championship from Sterling. Henry currently sits as the slight favorite to win the fight at -115 odds compared to Sterling who is -105. Cejudo has a fairly impressive resume including an Olympic gold medal. Henry boasts a professional record of 16-2-0 with 8 of those wins being by knockout and he has only been knocked out once. This dude has not lost a fight since 2016, and I’m not sure if you need me to quantify that more but the last time he lost Trump was taking office and Hamilton was sweeping the nation. I’m not sure which of those more people have bad memories of. This dude has all types of experience, is a proven winner, and is the favorite. Vegas usually knows, but that doesn’t mean I will always agree.

Now Aljamain Sterling is looking super solid in my opinion. He has a 3 inch height advantage, and a seven inch reach advantage both of which will be huge for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter. Cejudo is a better wrestler, and these height and reach advantages will really come in handy for keeping Cejudo at bay where Sterling can take advantage of his superior striking, then rely on the BJJ if it seems like the fight is headed to the ground. Sterling also has not lost in a while, since 2017 to be precise. He’s 22-3 all time, 3-1 by knockout, and 8-0 by submission. This dude is a lethal winning machine fighting a person who has not had a fight since 2016. In that time Sterling has won 10 fights, three of them for a title or title defense, two against Petr Yan, and one against TJ Dillashaw. I think he has all of the momentum, and more than enough of the skill needed to win this fight even as the underdog.

Bet on Sterling to win and get a shirt from the Friday Beers store on us!
