Oh, you think the second-best team in the Big 12 is going to lose now in the conference tournament? They are going into this game with a full head of steam and a roster full of studs. Iowa State is one of the best defensive teams in the nation. They sit at fourth in steals per game with 10.4, and a 92.5 defensive rating that has them at third in the nation. If you’re not careful with the rock they’re take it right out of your hands. Offensively they ain’t too terrible either, I love how Keshon Gilbert and Tamin Lipsey have been playing the two-man game in the backcourt. They’re both averaging 12 points per game, and several headaches for the opposing teams. Honestly, who’s to say they can’t win the whole thing?
