Alright, I won’t pretend to be a genie, but there is no way the Volunteers won’t beat the Aggies in this game. We are talking about a Tennessee team that is fifth in the nation and an A&M team that is joint sixth in the SEC. These two teams aren’t comparable quantities. That’s like asking me if a panther or a deer is a better hunter. Oh, and to top it all off, Tennesse is also playing this game at home. Like, come on. Give me the Volunteers 100 days out of 100 here.
The Texas A&M Aggies have been kinda ok this season. Look, I don’t want to disrespect anyone, but they’ve got eleven losses this season, and most of them have come against unranked teams. Now, they have beaten Tennessee already this season. And that’s something that I can’t ignore, but to be honest, I think that makes this game worse for the Aggies. Now Tennessee has pride to play for on top of their overall higher quality. Wade Taylor might do his thing, but that’s the best-case scenario for this team.
Tennessee is going to enter this game angry. And I’m talking that Bruce Banner to Hulk-type rage. I am expecting Dalton Knecht to do his thing. He is going to be dogging these A&M guards all night long on both ends of the court. Jonas Aidoo is about to be an absolute paint beast. Zakai Zeigler is about to look like prime Stockton with these assists. This team is going to do exactly what we all expect them to do. Get even.
