Game Analysis:

Folks, October baseball is here and man am I excited. After a pretty uneventful Wild Card round where all of the winners took just two games to end it, we have some really interesting matchups, headlined by one of the most exciting young teams in baseball, and an older more experienced Rangers squad. Here is what you, dear reader, should know.

Man do the Rangers have a good roster. Josh Jung has been an absolute stud and a great young addition to this Rangers Roster. Nine players on the roster are hitting over .250 which seems just insane. If it wasn’t for some injuries to this pitching staff Texas might be World Series favorites, but losing DeGrom and Scherzer is a huge blow. There have been some pitchers who really stepped up like Nate Eovaldi and Jodan Montgomery and they’ve done their best to fill the gaps. The Rangers also have one of the best offenses in the league, averaging 5.4 runs a game which is 3rd in the league, on 9.1 hits which is second. The defense has been a little shakey but still alright, in the top half of the league in most statistical categories. Will that be enough to beat the upstart Orioles?

Now if you ask me I wouldn’t be so sure. Yeah, I think the Rangers will definitely win a game or two but the O’s are a scrappy team that I think is a threat to win any game they’re playing in. Baltimore scores 5 runs a game which is good for 7th in the league, nothing to turn your nose up at. They also have a top 7 defense in terms of runs allowed, ERA, and error percentage. Baltimore has 10 players on their roster batting above .250, and man this offense is not only high-powered but also very young. Adley has been an absolute stud, as have Austin Hays and Ryan Mountcastle. While far from perfect their pitching staff has also been pretty solid especially Kyle Bradish and Tyler Wells. Honestly, this series could go any which way and I wouldn’t be too surprised.

These are two elite teams that both have everything to lose, but also everything to gain. Bet on either team and get your bonus bets!
